* Update:  Campy EPS build taking place 9/6/12 due to an incorrect part sent by the manufacturer.  Also,  I am finding the end of this season o be quite busy and haven’t had the chance to update the CSS yet, so that will take place as time is found.  Thanks!

 

Update on the CSS3/HTML5 theme being plugged in this weekend! Also, quick update: Campagnolo Super Record EPS build photos to arrive late Friday evening. Should be a great cover of the install and notes on technique (esp. on an external build install)!

Dawes Rebuild

This is a hand-built Dawes form the 70’s.  Derived in England, the frame is lugged steel that resembles early touring adventures long gone, but remembered fondly.  This was the idea of the client–bringing back a vintage memory as a backup Sunday ride to roll nostalgically down the WO&D.  Here are some final shots:

Welcome to Second Nature Cycling Blog!

Thanks for visiting and helping the launch of Second Nature Cycling blog (SNC).  In an effort of debating whether or not to start with a custom blog, I chose to start writing and sharing ASAP and leave the details of the aesthetics for later. So, bear with me as I start filing some past and present content to share.

This blog is intended for all those interested or even looking to get interested in cycling with an inside view of the industry.  Writing this also maintains my curiosity and love for riding bikes.  I feel that doing everything I can to invest in the future of the lifestyle is good for the whole.  Whatever you do in cycling, do it for the advancement of the sport and the environment around us.  Please share your thoughts through the appropriate channels and I will consider spotlighting interested readers who want to share as well.  Thanks again for visiting!  Now start reading!
